The History of the Painesville Railroad Depot and the Railroad it Served.
Tom Pescha presents a short history of the Painesville Depot and the Railroads that served Painesville area. The first Painesville station was built in 1850 and replaced with the current brick and sandstone station in 1893. The Painesville Railroad Museum is in the process of restoring her back to her glory. We have spent over $60,000.00 in restoration in the last 4 years with a 100% volunteer membership.
